Skins Inc announced that the Company has entered into a new development and manufacturing partnership with HENRICH E CIA LTDA in Brazil. Henrich currently manufactures international brands such as Carrano, Max & Co., Clarks, Naturalizer, Good Guy Girl, Top Shop, Buffalo, Unisa, ARA, Talbots, Franco Sarto and others.
The partnership will be effective immediately and will include the upcoming Spring 2009 product line. Mark Klein, President of Skins, commented, "We are thrilled to be working with Henrich. The relationship will not affect deliveries for the upcoming 2009 season, which hit stores February 2009. We believe that the quality of our product will increase substantially with Henrich, and we will also generate cost savings across the board, including sampling, materials, molds, freight forwarding costs, etc., and will greatly reduce lead times and shipping times.”
The Company will provide more details regarding both this relationship as well as other important areas of the business as part of a comprehensive business summary that will be released to the public by next week.
Skins Inc. created and is continuing to develop an innovative two-part, interchangeable footwear structure consisting of outer collapsible "Skins" and an inner holistic orthopedic support section called the "Bone."
