Nicole Richie has had more success with her design endeavors than most other celebrities: her accessories line, House of Harlow 1960, sold out online at Kitson within a number of days, and was spotted on many of her celeb friends (Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian both wore the same black resin necklace).
Now Richie is ready to expand into other markets with a new contemporary women's line, Winter Kate. Many of the line's pieces reflect Richie's now-famous bohemian style, with tops, vests, and jackets in silk, crepe and chiffon. The price point is accessible as well, with pieces running wholesale from $35 to $598 (for leather).
Richie knows what kind of woman she's designing for: "She is a woman like me: she does not look at labels; she knows how to mix and match. The pieces can be dressed up, made casual, but most importantly, they provide the wearer a means of self-expression and fun."
